Redneck Smakk
I'm sure many of you think that this site has been taken over by someone else pretending to be Smakk with recent posts about marathons, visiting family, etc. Well this ain't gonna help. I am going to Billy Bob's tonight to see Pat Green. Are you fucking kidding me? How the hell is this happening considering the cd's in my bemer right now include Death Cab for Cutie, Taking Back Sunday, Nada Surf, Flogging Molly, Jack Johnson...I think you get the point. I have lasted three years in Big D without having to suffer this "Honky Tonk" and now it's all blown to hell. What's next? I'll be showing up at work, experiencing sobriety, wearing solid shirts, actually having a memory...ohhh, the humanity. The good thing is I can't really imagine me making it through tonight other than completely wasted, so hopefully I won't remember much anyway. Well at least I do think I know one of his songs - that "Everclear" one. Yeah, I can sing along to that one.

Training Smakk
So after my bold statement yesterday about my marathon run in 2006, I figured I should update you on my first day of training. So yesterday I skipped my workout, ate a couple slices of pizza, drank a pint of captain at the movies and slept in late this morning and missed working out again. I think I can top that tonight since I'll probably be at Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and drinks. Wow - it's like I've been training my whole life for this.

Marathon Smakk
So I watched my bunny kicked ass yesterday for her BIG DAY at the White Rock Marathon. Yes, she joined the other 10,000 psychos that think running 26.2 miles is fun. After only 3 months of training, she finished 44 out of all females, placed 6th in her age division and qualified for the Boston Marathon on her first try. I of course kept up a strong pace of downing beers from the sidelines. So from this experience I have decided to make the most shocking Smakk statement that I have ever made. Please try not to faint. I, Smakk, will run a marathon in 2006. Ok - why did I hear a simultaneous burst of laughter across the state? Now that I realize that they provide beer and shots throughout the race, I feel have been already in training for this event most of my life. So watch out! Smakk will be running through the streets very soon. Can you get a RWI by the way?
