Full Smakk
Is it not just brutal going back to the office after having a giant lunch? The fried catfish platter I had today at Vernon's Grill was good, but a little heavy for mid-day mid-week. I'm yawning so much and so tired, I feel like I'm going to pull an LRod and doze off at my desk. Now I like when the Bunny has this reaction after dinner and I can pile up random objects on her while sleeping on the couch, then take her picture and send it back to her own phone to wake her up. Wait - didn't that just happen to you also LRod?
Speaking of couch sleep - I finally got the Bunny to watch an entire DVD movie without dozing off. Which movie did it take to keep her awake? No other than the classic alien clone taking you over when you sleep flick, Invasion of the Body Snatchers. And the giant pod I laid on the couch beside her was a nice touch...

Lunch Smakk
So I had lunch with the Bunny today for a little mid-day sushi in Addison Circle. The Sushi was good and the Bunny enjoyed her free lunch date. Upon leaving the restaurant, I reached in the little exit area candy dish and grabbed an apple flavored Jolly Rancher off the top of the mix mash of hard candy and mints. The Bunny then approaches and starts digging through the entire candy jar, examining each piece while little squeaks emitting from her of the likes, "Damn cherry. Not peppermint. Ugggh grape." So after a couple minutes of holding the door while she goes through this excercise, I finally release the Wu-ism, "Are you serious?"

WTF? This would be like going to a Cowboys game and compalining about not enough salt on the peanuts. Or maybe buying a buying a $100 bottle of wine but not liking the texture of the cork. But since the Bunny is so important to me, I'll make sure she gets a Godiva chocolate mint when we leave our next lunch...which will now be Taco Bell.
