Break Smakk
We all need a nice little break from things sometimes. Be it work, family, loved ones, etc. So yesterday - LRod, Wu, Buster & I took the day off for a little morning round of golf at Coyote Ridge. After our normal 18 holes of talking smakk, we decided to head over to Hooters for a nice little lunch. The little lunch ran about 3 hours with pitchers of Coors Light flowing every 30 minutes. Buster gets the classic move of the day during his stalling texts to his waiting bunny at home. In response to her "Come home. I'm hungry." text, Buster picks up his phone, dials Pizza Hut and orders a pie delivered to his house. Time for another pitcher...

Fallen Soldier Smakk
Another soldier has fallen as Big Wu finally popped the questioned to his Bunny on Friday. I have to give the man props for getting down on his knees in front of a packed house on the deck at Uncle Julio's. Lindz accepted and now Wu gets a weekend of happy bliss, followed by months of agonizing wedding planning. Wedding venues, reception halls, guests lists, save the date cards, invitations, cakes, honeymoon spots, gift registry...oh the humanity. And don't fall for the whole, "I'm fine with a nice little simple ceremony" line. There is no such thing as "simple" and "wedding". And you thought the engagement ring was a big purchase? Go ahead and empty those pockets now big boy, you haven't seen anything yet. So a big congrats to the happy couple...and Wu, you can always cry on my shoulder. I feel your pain....
