4th Smakk
The best thing about this 4th of July is that it falls on a Saturday thus giving most of us tomorrow off for that elusive yet glorious 4 day weekend. The Bunny & I still have are plans a little up in the air but I know at least these things will be included in the fun & sun this long weekend:

Golf with Crew
Sailing with the Captain
Pool time with Bunny, Bro & his clan
Grilling steaks, shrimp, burgers, brats and other assorted tasties
Lake time on the boat
Fireworks, fireworks, fireworks
And of course, more Sailing with the Captain

Have a great 4th of July all!!! I plan on getting patriotic and pickled....

Recipe Smakk
While thinking about ideas for dinner, I was going through a book the Bunny has created of clipped out and copied recipes that she has enjoyed or has been wanting to try out. One extremely complex one that she had saved from a Zatarain's Seasoning package was very interesting. Please feel free to print off this recipe for yourself if your dare to attempt such a meal undertaking. So here it is:

BOILED SHRIMP
2 quarts of water
2 tablespoons of salt (optional)
2 lbs of shrimp
2 teaspoons of Zatarain's Seasoning
Bring water to boil. Stir in shrimp and seasoning. Cook until shrimp pink. Remove.

Wow. I just can't imagine where these people come up with these crazy ideas. And I'm so thankful the Bunny took the time to save this recipe. Maybe for breakfast tomorrow, I can search her book and find one for toast...

Golf Smakk
The Crew and I usually make it out to the golf course at least once every weekend. The most difficult decision is always trying to figure out which course to play. We decide based on location, last time played, available tee times, coupon specials, etc. Well that has now all become much easier with this page I found on Avid Golfer. So for any of you guys out there that also struggle with which course to pick, please feel free to use this link to help you out as well - Best Way to Pick A Golf Course. Tee it up...
