Apology Smakk
I need to start off this stormy Thursday morning with an apology:
Dear panicked lady sitting in your little red Kia -
I'm am very sorry for the giant wave I sent careening over your entire car this morning as you sat stalled out in rushing waters up to your door just south of Spring Valley Road on Midway. By your frantic arm waving, I feel you must have good swimming skills so I have no concerns that you will be fine as the water creeps higher and higher up your raft...err...car. I believe that creek bed beneath you will taking you flowing down through Framer's Branch and Las Colinas so that will be nice sight seeing for you. Anyway, good luck dealing with your automobile insurance on your totaled electric system and flooded engine. But most importantly...have a great day.

Classy Smakk
While driving down Midway Rd this afternoon headed to my office in Addison, I pulled up right behind a guy that just emulated the word "classy". Even through the browning back window of his over sized camper on his rusting 1980 Datsun truck, I was clearly able to see his mullet flowing proudly over the shoulders of his sleeveless shirt. Of course, there was an over sized rebel flag bumper sticker proudly displayed for all to see. But the piece de resistance of his vintage KKK recruiting mobile was this classy bumper sticker - "Barack, go back to your village". Freedom of speech...it even applies for Nascar fans...

Hangover Smakk
The funniest movie hands down that has come to the big screen since Superbad, The Hangover is pure greatness. You will be cracking up this entire film but the last 5 minutes of still pics during the ending credits will have you tears. We saw it on Saturday night at the Movie Studio Grill in Colleyville for Yott's B-day. Theater was good but if you pay in cash for drinks and grub, don't expect the waitstaff to return with any change. They disappear faster than strippers when the lights turn on at 2am. So if you haven't seen it yet, get to your neighborhood box office and check it out.
