More Jeep Smakk
So I went to test drive the 4-door Jeep a couple days ago and here's how that went. And my salesperson was a Hispanic kick boxing chick so you get the full effect.
Senorita Jeep - "I have a Wrangler also and just love it."
Smakk - "Wow. This things really rides like a Jeep huh?"
Senorita Jeep - "Dis iz a rough road. Rides just like a car on the highway."
Smakk - "I think my head is bleeding from hitting the roof on that pebble we just ran over."
Senorita Jeep - "Other people in Jeeepz will wave at you when you ride by them. I love that."
Smakk - "So is the back hard top easy to get off?"
Senorita Jeep - "You need at least one other person but its jus a couple screws here, here, here, there, there, there , there...."
Smakk - "So what does the top weigh?"
Senorita Jeep - "Just like 200 pounds but once you get it off iz very nice."
Smakk - "Ok. Now I have a boat that weighs about 4000 ponds with the trailer. What's the towing capacity?"
Senorita Jeep - "I towed a trailer all the way from the valley with no problem. You be fine I sure." (Towing capacity 3500 lbs specs)
Smakk - "Great."
Senorita Jeep - "So are you ready to drive it home?"
Smakk - "I need to go get the Bunny since she'll want to see it also before I buy. I'll be back in an hour or so."
So a couple hours pass I only get about four to ten messages from her asking if I'm on my way back. I think I would rather drive a pinata than that thing. Back to car hunting....

Jeep Smakk
Going shopping tonight for a new ride - 4-door Jeep Wrangler. Bad gas mileage, very unbusiness like, pretty plain interior, no real practical application - yep, that sounds about perfect for me. I will be giving the Beemer to the Bunny to upgrade her riding status. Wondering how mid-life crisis the Jeep will make me look? Thinking I could wear a baseball cap backwards while in my work suit and have the radio jamming to old Van Halen. Maybe get a wench, front ram rack, jacked up tires...considering I'll never actually take it out of the city. Guess we'll see what happens. Whatever does...I feel it's going to be a fun ride for this summer.

Treo Smakk

The Bunny got me the new Palm Treo 755p for my birthday this weekend. Great little toy but I must warn everyone driving around me that I haven't got the new texting format down yet so watching for the swerving black Beemer. Now with phone, texting, email, music & tv at my fingertips 24/7, I'm pretty set. Just need to figure out way to teach it to pour my captains for me. Then again...that does still make the Bunny useful. Kidding...thank you Bunny.
