Ahhhh....the weekend is finally here. I AM SPARTA!!!!!

Flight Smakk
Plan Day 1 - Depart DFW at 3pm Sun afternoon. Hour layover in Phoenix and then arrive Ontario, CA at 5:30pm. 1 hour drive to Pecahango Casino. Have nice steak dinner and be at Blackjack tables by 8pm.
Reality Day 1 - Board DFW departure at 3pm Sun afternoon. Sit on plane on runway for 90 minutes as storm passes overhead. Arrive at Phoenix 30 minutes after connection (last of night) departs to Ontario, CA. Hop on later flight to LAX. Have buddy that was meeting me at Ontario drive an hour to LAX to pick me up. Then drive 90 minutes to Pechango to arrive at 10pm. Steak house closed so get fast food Chinese from food court. Too beat to play so hit sack by 11pm.

Plan Day 2 - Depart Ontario at 6pm. Have 1 hour connection in Phoenix and then hop plane back to DFW for 1am arrival. Maybe have little dinner snack at house then hit the sack.
Reality Day 2 - Depart Ontario at 6pm. Circle over Phoenix for 20 minutes for storm to subside to land. Storm doesn't so plane goes back to Ontario to refuel. Take back off from Ontario again and arrive at Phoenix 2 hours later. DFW connection already left (last one of night) so stuck at Phoenix until noon flight to DFW the next day. Arrive at Clarion Inn at 1am and have $1.59 microwave burger for dinner. Still at Clarion Inn right now about to take shuttle back to airport for noon flight back to DFW. Text from Bunny , "Your plane is coming from Reno hasn't left yet. Mechanical problems. Will keep you updated."

Was thinking of having shuttle stop at pawn shop for small caliber pistol on way to airport but guess I can suffer it out. At least I got to squeeze in a couple hours at the blackjack tables in Pechango to walk away $2500 up. Now if I can just get back to big D to spend it....

Limits Smakk

The Bunny is really pushing my limits now. OObunny friend came over to play and this is what happens to me after they have two glasses of wine. I would have been fine being a ring bearer or something but this is absolutely out of the question. I -am-a-male-dog. Repeat. Male. Please, anyone, send help.

Ceremony Smakk
Did I really sacrifice over 2 hours of my Saturday drinking time to pick out scriptures and vows (had to correct my "vowels" mistake here per comment below) with a minister? Yes - the wedding ceremony planning is in full effect. Even after this brutal Saturday meeting, I understand there are still flower appointments, cake tastings, and lots of other fun, fun activities ahead. Wasn't there a quickie Vegas wedding plan at one time?
Well anyway, we did get a lot of the wording down for the ceremony. It was a whipping until our minister showed us the wedding vowels that were done in Dr Seuss style. Thought the Bunny doesn't seem open to that idea, I could come up with something fitting I'm sure....
