Hotel Smakk
Why is the trend more and more for the cheaper hotels to have so much more than the old school high priced "full service" hotels? Couple of weeks ago, I stay in a full service Marriott in New Jersey for about $300 a night. Room was ok, overpriced room service available, lobby bar, etc. Also I had to pay extra for parking & Internet access. What Hilton or Hyatt asshole came up with the idea that parking at the hotel is a fucking premium charge?
Now tonight, I'm staying at a nice little Hampton Inn in the DC area. Only $200 for the night which includes free shuttle from airport, free shuttle ride to nice restaurant for dinner, free wi fi access, separate living area and kitchen with fridge & microwave, flat screens tv, free hot breakfast in morning and free fucking parking right in front of hotel. The front desk girl even offered me a bag of hot popcorn when I checked in.
I don't even know where I'm going with this rant but at least I'm able to post it for free tonight from my discount room as opposed to the $10.95 I had to pay last time from my full (of shit) service hotel. I May not even steal the extra toiletries tomorrow...
