Linds - I hear you. My favorite here in Dallas is the ragged out 4x4 pick-up that tailgates your ass on the freeway even though you're sitting behind 16 other cars in your lane. With my clichéd pretentious uptown black BMW, I just slam on the breaks and laugh as their beef jerky and chewing tobacco cans come flying in their lap from the windshield ledge.

Screw all of you and your snobby so called high class cars. So you're young. So you want to pretend you're more than you are, like you're somebody. BMW, Audi, Volvo, whatever! What are you trying to compensate for? That you feel less of who you are?

I think if anyone buys a certain car to boost their ego then more power to them. They are obviously lacking in other areas. But I can see why some buy nice cars. Most are proven to last longer and even get better gas mileage. I can see all sides of this. I currently drive a pick up (cause it was given to me free), am rebuilding my 1991 Saleen Mustang, and have just entered the market for a new Tahoe. Glad you pointed me over here Linds. I am sure your Audi is beautiful and can dust any Sentra in sight! :-)

Okay, I'm smiling. Got some sort of reparte going. Thing is, I like Audis, they're nice cars. Even like certain BMW's. And the big kicker, I don't even own a truck.
