Black Friday Smakk
Last Friday morning, the Bunny & I got up at 4:30am to go out and join the other crazies for the shopping madness known as Black Friday. Our first stops were at Sam's Club & Wally World. Ok people...where's this recession thing? These places were packed wall to wall and at least 75% of the shopping carts had 1 or multiple flat screen tv's in them. How fucking bad can things be? These weren't hordes of people fighting for bread or gov't cheese. These were 42" plasmas flying out the stores like bottles of Captain at my house.
But then it all came clear to me. Per my recession theory from a couple weeks ago, this was obviously the Britney Spears factor kicking in. With Britney's new CD releasing this week, she will be all over TV for appearances thus giving the media something to focus on besides the economy. And all these shoppers were so confident that she would make some kind of spectacle that would lead to our economic recovery, they had to see it in High Def. So thank you again Britney from all of America.
