Weekend Update Smakk
So I returned back to Big D on Saturday after my adventures in the suburbs of Houston only to proceed straight from the airport to Sundance Square in Ft Worth to get the pre-party started with Gwedo and Loops. After a few RVB’s in the room, Sweet Caroline (bop, bop, bop) meets up with us at the hotel and we all proceed down to Mi Cocinas for a little grub before the serious action begins. We meet up with Chris J and friends, and after a couple steak Tacos al Carbon (highly recommended) we all head down to Pete’s Piano Bar. Though I’m not usually a fan of the piano bar scene – throw in some Red Bull, shots, bachlorettes, etc…and it can be an alright time. Night ended with a post party back at the hotel with pizza, stolen flowers and pillows, security complaints – all the standard fare. Hen a nice little Sunday followed with a 3rd viewing of Wedding Crashers and of course, the beer tower. Just glad to be back at work. Need the rest…
