Idol Smakk
As in every January, I watched the premeire of American Idol last night to catch all the rejects & crazies that actually make the first few episodes entertaining for our country's most popular piece of televised idiocy. The show had a good 15 minutes of worthy programming stretched out over a 2 hour time frame showcasing the truly disturbed and deranged individual that make up the flavor of our great nation. (Big props to Bikini Girl! I truly enjoy your audition especially from the rear camera.)
In attempt to update the show, a 4th judge was added, Kara Dia-annoying. This famous song writer that none of us have ever heard actually did successfully pull off one feat on her first show. She was able to masterfully make her prescence and comments even more ridiculously stupid and annoying than Paula & Randy. That is an impressive feat.
But the most outstanding moment by far was Ryan Seacrest holding up his hand in congratulations to a golden ticket winner...who was blind. This awkward moment was television gold. Reminds me of the time Drunk Steve get asking the deaf girl for her phone number....
