Support Smakk
Ahhhh...there's nothing quite like the support from friends and family when you really need it. So last Tuesday, the day after Memorial day, I decided it was time to start trimming down some of this fat Smakk ass gut I've been developing. I just haven't been able to get consistency back into my running or workout routine so it came down to the other option - diet. Now I've never been a fan of any of these bullshit fad diets that come around every year, so basically I decided to limit myself to only 1500 calories max per day of food intake. (Note - I said food intake. No comments on the calories in the Capt are necessary.) I figure I've been averaging about 2500+ a day before that. So I go Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at only about 1200 calories a day and what do you know when I weigh in on Saturday morning? I've already dropped 7lbs. So I tell the Bunny this great news and in her ever supportive cheer she responds with, "I have a buy one, get one free enchilada plate at Dos Rios tonight. Can we go?" Well they were good enchiladas....
So now this week, I pick right back up on Sunday with plan. All week long I've been keeping still around 1200 calories per day. Even Big Wu seems impressed and jumps on the bandwagon with his own calorie plan. So this morning I hit the scales again and I'm down about 11 lbs in total over the almost 2 week period. So the first email I see when I get into work this morning from the Wu-ster himself, "Hey. Let's all go have dinner tonight at Babe's tonight before the movie." Really Babe's? Famous for their great fried chicken, chicken fried steak and down home (aka lots of butter) country sides all served homestyle. Mutha fucka... I'm sure we'll have to stop at Marble Slab on the way home tonight too.

I LOVE Babe's.....you should take Sarah shopping in "Olde Town" (like they're actually British??)in downtown Granbury. There is a Babe's right off the square - the best one in the universe - AND an ice cream shop within a block! Stick with me. I will make you hubby of the year!
