Weekend Smakk
It was a nice little three day weekend at Club 6850. Finally decided on a new ride and choose a Black 4-Runner Limited with a V8 to pull the boat. Don't get me wrong - I really like it. Just a little odd that now I'm driving a Toyota and the Bunny is styling in my Beemer. Being unsatisfied with dropping a big wad of cash on a new car, the Bunny and I decide to also buy all new living room furniture. Started off looking at large sectionals, big round rotating chairs, bright crazy stuff....so, of course we ended up buying an extremely traditional set couch, loveseat, chair, coffee & end tables, lamps and yes, an area rug. I can't believe I bought a fucking area rug. When did all the grown up adult shit start happening?
We rounded out the weekend with a little drunk bowling with Wu, Buster and the girls at Dallas 300. Spent Memorial Day drinking at the house while thinking up designs to build an arc from all the freakin' rain we've been having here.
So now it's Tuesday and the three day weekend must come to an end. Well maybe for the average mortal but not for Smakk. Decided another day of fun was necessary so I played a round of 18 at Bear Creek this morning with Wu, LRod and Jason. Followed up with some wings at Hooters and now easing into the afternoon by typing up this post while sitting out by the pool catching a few rays of rare sunshine. So have fun all you folks already back in your cubicles basking under your fluorescent lights. Smakk wishes you well. Now some please go re-fill my drink....
