yep. i am actually friends with 99.9 percent of guys that i dated over an extended period of time.
sometimes it happens right away, other times it took a while. depends on how ugly the breakup was.

not good friends, but i still talk to a couple exboyfriend once in a while - it definitely takes a while i think, unless you never cared about the person much in the first place
