Reference Smakk
Even after 15 years of working in the recruiting business, I still get amused that you never know what to expect when you deal with people. I've got many stories about all the crazy situations people put themselves in while at work (which I will be publishing some day soon), but I had a nice like nugget last night while making a reference call on an Executive VP looking for work.
Smakk - "Good morning Miss. I understand you used to work with VP X."
Miss - "Yes. He was my boss for about 90 days."
Smakk - "Oh, I see. Well what can you share with me about your experiences with him?"
Miss - "What do you want to know?"
Smakk - "Well can you tell what you thought about him as your supervisor?"
Miss - "Sure. I thought he was about as useful as tits on a board."
Smakk - "Great. That's all I need to know. Thanks."
I will definitely be stealing that phrase in the future....

Don't act like you can't think of tons of things to do with TITS on a board.
