Fair Smakk
The Bunny & I made our traditional afternoon visit yesterday to the Texas State fair. We avoided the rides and carnival games so that we could focus all our efforts on the most important part of the festivities - the fried food. Here's the substance of our lunch menu:
Fried grilled cheese sandwich with cream of tomato dipping sauce
Fried smores covered in powdered sugar
Chicken fried bacon strips with ranch on the side
JalapeƱo and cheddar Fletcher's corndog
And of course, draft beers between each item.
Let's just say the Bunny's tummy was so upset last night that she even struggled downing any wine for the evening. I was able to still have a nice little sail with the Captain but there have been many extended magazine reads on the porcelain throne. It's the price we pay for visiting the land of the fried fried...
