Update Smakk
The long holiday weekend started off a little shaky since the Bunny made me run a 3 mile Turkey Trot on Thursday morning in 30 degree weather. I finished the race in 28 minutes and surprisingly Careflight was not called in to carry me away. The Bunny finished 4th in her 8 mile event as a debut to her new Planet Burrito race sponsorship. (Her televised commercial debut will be coming out later in the month. I'm sure I will be hidden somewhere in the background.) We then headed up to Champps Addison for some turkey & trimmings and wrapped up the day sipping on Captain in front of the TV.
Friday morning kicked off with a 5:30am start to go out and battle with all the other shopping crazies. We hit Circuit City, Wally World, Target & Bed, Bath & Beyond all before 9am. Made out with some good deals but my favorite highlight was the large black woman almost getting arrested at Circuit City for cutting in line at check-out. It was getting vicious out there. After shopping, I met up with LRod, Buster & Loops for Indoor Golf. As LRod nursed his hangover with Sprite. Lops, Buster & I polished off 8 pitchers of Coors Light for brunch. Drive to golf - 15 minutes. Drive home from golf - 45 minutes. Friday night ended with more Captain for me & wine for the Bunny.
After more shopping on Saturday, the Bunny & I met up with Buster, Wu and their bunnies for some 3 Mile Island wings at Hooters followed by a little late night bowling at Addison 300. I made the great mistake of mentioning that I had been watching the Cupcake Challenge on the Food Network beforehand, so then earning the moniker of CCK (CupCake King) for the remainder of the evening.
Spent a lovely Sunday putting up lights and Christmas decorations in the freezing rain at Club 6850. Loops was kind enough to repeatedly text me "How's it going Clark Griswald?" throughout the day. A one hour battle trying to level the Christmas tree was entertaining especially spending the next two hours trying to get pine sap off my hands. Though I was quite entertained when the Bunny shrieked after seeing the Santa head staring out at her from the fridge when she opened the door.
The weekend finally ended with me back in my chair with the Captain on Sunday night with the Bunny passed out by 8pm on the couch after our lobster ravioli dinner. Now it's Monday and back to work. Joy to the freakin' world!

It is so fun to yell "C'mon cupcake king!" at the bowling alley making you throw a gutter ball. :)
