I discovered today that I must become a member of AAA. For the roadside assistance - no. For the discounts at hotels - no. For the car and homeowner's insurance discounts - no. There is a reason much more compelling than all of these combined - The "Tipsy Tow" service. For major holidays or other drinking related event days such as Super Bowl Sunday, AAA will drive your drunk ass home and tow your car within a 10 mile radius for free. This program has been around for 20 years and I'm just now finding out about it? This could have saved me 10's of $1000's in cab fares just over the past couple of years. AAA - I salute you.
