Reality Smakk
I don't get the whole deal about "Reality TV". First off, how can you refer to this as being real? Now think about it - if reality was truly that interesting, then we would never watch TV. We watch TV to escape from reality. To escape is to dream and to dream is to live outside your own reality. So why would anyone ever dream to live another person's reality, especially if that reality itself is not even real, which defines everything on reality TV. (If you feel you're getting a little lost here, a stiff drink will usually help.) All that being said, you have to check out this new show called "The Surreal Life". It's got 6 or 7 former celebrities living together in a house for a couple weeks. We're talking Hammertime, Webster, one of the Coreys, Vince Neal from Motley Crue (who is the only one that seems normal) and a few others I can't really remember. This is the anti-reality show because it is made to laugh at itself. It's a good way to waste a half hour.
Now that I've said my piece (or peace) - Hi there. This is my first blogging effort so I hope you enjoy it. I'll be talking here a lot about life observations, moral philosophy, how all of life's situations can be answered in movies and my surprise topics that emerge after I have a few cocktails.
